Am I eligible for a Liv credit card?

If you fit all the below requirements, you’re eligible to apply:

  • Your base salary is at least AED 5000 & paid through bank transfer
  • Your AECB score is at least 541
  • You do not exceed 50% of your base salary when paying your current monthly installments (for example, if you earn AED 10,000 per month and your auto loan and personal loan payments already add up to AED 5,000, you will not be eligible for further credit)

If you’re eligible, apply through the ‘Products’ page in your app. Once you’ve applied, stay tuned for app updates on your application as you may be asked for more details or documents.

Yay! My credit card’s been approved. When will I get it & how should I activate it?

Our courier partner will deliver your credit card within 5 working days after it’s approved. To schedule your delivery or follow up, call Aramex and use your mobile number registered with Liv

Once you receive your credit card and want to activate it, simply go to your Settings page, swipe left on the card image to see your credit card, and tap ‘Activate card.” You’ll be asked to set your PIN, then you're good to go!

My credit card is active . How do I track my balance, rewards and bills?

Congrats! The credit card dashboard is your go-to place for it all. Just go to Products > Credit card, for your payment, balance, rewards dashboards. You can also get a digital or paper copy of your credit card statement anytime by tapping the icon in the top right corner of your credit card page.

Use ‘Pay Bills’ to pay your Telecom & Utility bills for Du, Etisalat, Swyp, DEWA, and SEWA.

Your ‘My Balance’ dashboard summarizes your spends over the last 6 months, and lists all transactions (confirmed, pending, and blocked).

Your ‘Rewards’ dashboard has everything related to points & benefits!

  • See your rewards & points available for redemption
  • View your Skywards/Cashback earned
  • Information on how your points are calculated
  • Transfer Skywards miles and claim rewards

I want to change my due date or my minimum payment amount

You can change your billing date up to 2 times, and change your minimum payment % as many times as you like. To change your repayment settings, go to ‘Settings’, swipe left on the card image at the top to see your credit card. Then tap ‘Change repayment settings’ underneath.

Can I convert my credit card purchases into installments, or withdraw cash from my credit card?

You can convert purchases over 750 AED into monthly installments using an Installment Payment Plan (IPP). Simply select the transaction on your credit card financial activity page. Each installment plan has a one-time fee of AED 49, and each plan may have its own interest rate.

To cancel an IPP, simply chat with our team. Remember, a cancellation fee of 1% of the outstanding principal amount applies.

You can withdraw cash from your credit card. Remember, there’s a fee of AED 99 or 3% of the withdrawal amount (whichever is higher). The fee amount will be charged to your credit card.

Oops! I didn’t pay my credit card bill on time

To avoid the late payment fee of AED 175 (plus VAT), remember to have enough money in your Liv account on your payment due date.

Help! I’ve lost my credit card OR someone has the card details

Immediately go to your Settings page, swipe left on the card image to see your credit card, and tap ‘Lock’. Then chat with us for help on next steps.

Later on, if you find your lost card, simply unlock it in your Settings page by tapping “Unlock.”

If you do want to permanently block your credit card and get a new one, simply chat with us. Don’t forget about the AED 25 (+VAT) fee for a new card.

I want to cancel my credit card. How can I do this?
